What's Happening In September
1. FALL FITNESS FRENZY - Get back on track after a summer of food and fun. Get 1/2 off the registration fee for the month of September.

2. Pilot Butte Climb Class - for the month of September we will be climbing the butte on Tuesday mornings at 9:15 am. Strollers or front carriers OK. Strollers must have a safety strap.

3. FREE Preview - SEPT. 15 -18 @ Pilot Butte State Park. Come meet some great moms and their babies, get back on track for fall & see what the buzz is all about.

WHAT IS STROLLER STRIDES?

Learn more about me, Debi Stangeland, the owner/instructor of Stroller Strides in Bend by clicking my picture on the right. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Stroller Strides is a one hour total body workout designed specifically for moms with stroller age children (6 weeks - 4 years), offering classes that combine power walking and intervals of body toning using exercise tubing (provided) AND your stroller. All strollers, except umbrella strollers will work fine. This is not just a stroll in the park but a workout that gets you striding into your best shape while spending time with your child and other moms.

Babies are Stroller Strides' priority, so don't worry if yours is fussy! Classes are taught by nationally certified instructors who are moms-- just like you--and structure the class so that moms can make baby happy and not miss out on the work out.

Whatever your fitness level, Stroller Strides will give you the work out you need. You create the intensity and Stroller Strides creates the fun for you and your baby.

Stroller Strides is proud to partner with LUNA Bar in hosting the LUNA Moms Clubs. Each month, your LUNA Moms Club will host play dates, moms’ nights out and activities for you and your family.

Referal Program - Earn $$ off your monthly membership today!
Refer a new student to any of our classes and earn a $5 credit for yourself! The referral does not have to join. They just need to sign up online, use your name as how they heard about Stroller Strides and take advantage of the free class pass! The $5 referral credit will be applied toward your next month's dues! There is no limit on referrals so this can really add up in savings for you! Start spreading the word!!
Referrals must be first-time attendees.


What to bring to class?
- Water bottle
- Snacks for you and baby (drink for baby)
- Yoga mat or large towel (for ab workout)
- Stroller (does not need to be a jogger but should not be an umbrella style)
- Sunscreen for you and baby (for outdoors)
- Blanket for baby(s) on chilly days (for outdoors)


Expectant Mothers Welcome!!
We encourage expectant moms to continue to exercise through their pregnancy as long as everything has been OK'd by their physician. Instructors are trained in both pre and post natal fitness and follow the ACOG guidelines. We can modify any exercise that poses an issue as you progress through your pregnancy.
Stroller Strides does require a Doctors approval prior to beginning Stroller Strides if pregnant and that form can be emailed to you, so you are ready to go on your first day! Exercise during pregnancy helps improve or increase:
Cardiovascular fitness
Muscular strength/endurance
Energy levels
Higher fatigue threshold
Posture and biomechanics
Circulation
Self-esteem, sense of well-being
Recovery time
