Thanksgiving Arts and Crafts Project:
Santa Monica Bluffs Location - November 11th - Following 8:30am Class

Mom's Night Out - Bowling:
Please join us for a night of Bowling, Food and Fun on Monday, November 17th @ 7pm! We will be meeting at Mar Vista Lanes located at 12125 Venice Blvd. An evite has been sent out with all the details. If you did not receive your evite and would like to be included in this great event, please email Susie Parks at malibusu@hotmail.com. If you have not yet responded, please remember to do so. And again, all our events are open to ALL mommies...so invite your friends!

Field Trip to Under the Sea:
On November 20th, please join the Marina Del Rey moms at this wonderful indoor playground for kids. We will meet at Under the Sea following the 9:30am class. So for those that are not attending class, please meet us around 11am. Under the Sea is located on Washington Blvd @ Grandview. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact Colette Fowler at music.family@verizon.net . Again you do not have to be a Stroller Strides Member to join this event!

Thanksgiving Potluck Events:
Come celebreate the beginning of the Holidays by joining us at either the Santa Monica TG Potluck on November 19th or at the Culver City Potluck on Novemver 21st. You are also welcome to join us for both! Follwoing each class, we will set out all the wonderful food items that all the moms contributed and enjoy some time chatting and eating! Great thing to do following a Great Workout. And evite for both locations will be sent out so that everyone can specify what they will bring. If you do not get an evite from either location, please feel free to email tracy@strollerstrides.net and we will make sure you receive one or both. Alllocation and all mommies are welcome to join!

Thanksgiving Holiday Class Schedule

No Classes on Thursday, November 27th or Friday, Novemer 28th.

However, please join us on Saturday, November 29th for our 9am Class. Please feel free to bring the whole family and work off your Thankgiving Feasts!

L.E.A.N.® (Learn Eating Awareness and Nutrition)

8-week lifestyle weight management program designed to help you achieve a balanced body and a balanced mind. L.E.A.N. is based on a very positive, empowering approach to health. Using behavior and cognitive modification,

stress reduction and social support, clients discover how to take the power out of food, and get off the diet cycle for life. Since diets lead to disordered eating and most exercise programs involve unrealistic expectations, we will focus instead on enhancing your awareness of healthy eating styles and educating you on the beneficial aspects of good food and appropriate physical activity.
You will come to understand how most overeating is not due to hunger but rather is a consequence of stress and emotional factors.This program gives women the tools they need to make healthy, positive changes in their lives.

We meet one night a week for 8-weeks.


Beginning in January, we will look to offer our first LEAN program. This initial program will only be open to 10 Mommies maximum! We will also be offering the package at a one-time discounted rate of $150 for Stroller Strides Members and $200 for Non-Stroller Strides Members. This is a savings of $50! If you would like more information and are or think you might be interested in participating in our New Year Session, please emal tracy@strollerstrides.net. We will put you on our list early and contact you as we get closer. Please feel free to share with your friends as you do not have to be a Stroller Strides Member to participate. ( The Non Stroller Strides Mom Fee will include 2 Stroller Strides Classes a Week for the length of the program)

This is a reminder that your referrals do not go unnoticed! Please remember that if you refer a mommy and she purchases either a 10 Class Pass or Monthly Membership, you get rewarded! Please make sure to remind your mommy friend to put your name on the top of the registration card.
