Stroller Strides is the nation’s leading stroller fitness program for new moms. We uniquely deliver a total body workout that incorporates both the baby and the stroller. Great for any fitness level, Stroller Strides will improve your cardiovascular endurance, strength and flexibility with a 60-minute workout using the environment, exercise tubing and the stroller. Stroller Strides also offers a Moms Club that has free weekly playgroups, mom’s night out activities and community events. The entire program brings together a group of moms who are going through the same amazing and exhausting experience of living with a baby. REFERRAL PROGRAM - Earn $$ off your monthly membership today!
Refer a new participant to any of our classes and earn a $5 credit for yourself! The referral does not have to join. They just need to sign up online, use your name as how they heard about Stroller Strides and take advantage of the free class pass (no expiration)! Once the free class pass has been used, a $5 referral credit will be applied toward your next month's dues! There is no limit on referrals so this can really add up in savings for you! Start spreading the word!! Referrals must be first-time attendees.

Quinton Classes (Mon/Wed/Fri) may be moved to the Quinton Community Center (QCC) in cases of inclement weather. Inclement weather includes rain, temperatures below 45 degrees before noon, or winds are 10+ mph with temperatures below 60 before 10am. A voicemail message will be posted after 8:00am of the day in question at 800.366.1725, option 2 OR check back here for postings. Also, time permitting, QCC sign will have location change displayed.

REMINDERS
GETTING STARTED: * First time participants receive ONE FREE CLASS! Try out the class, meet some of the other amazing moms and children and you'll be hooked! Soon it will become part of your routine! Stroller Strides wouldn't be the country’s most popular fitness program for new moms if it wasn't awesome! Come find out for yourself.
WHAT TO BRING: * plenty of water for you and baby * snacks for you and baby * mat, towel, or blanket for ab exercises and stretching * while we can be quite entertaining, we recommend bringing a special bag of toys/activities for your child that is saved for "stroller time".
HELPFUL HINTS: * Any stroller is acceptable, with the exception of umbrella strollers. The handles are just not long enough for mommy to keep proper posture. * Please arrive 15 minutes early to class. This allows you sign in and prepare your stroller for class. We want to start on time, want to make sure everyone gets in a good warm-up, and do not want to leave anybody behind.
ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS: * Please keep your children in the stroller at all times. This is for their safety and for everyone's enjoyment of the class. We appreciate your cooperation. Plus, you can always blame the instructor! "Ms. Anna said you had to stay in the stroller. Mommy would let you out but she would get in trouble." Baby is safe and mommy is not the bad guy.

EXPECTANT MOTHERS WELCOME!!
We encourage expectant moms to continue to exercise through their pregnancy as long as everything has been OK'd by their physician. Instructors are trained in both pre and post natal fitness and follow the ACOG guidelines. We can modify any exercise that poses an issue as you progress through your pregnancy. Stroller Strides does require a Doctors approval prior to beginning Stroller Strides if pregnant and that form can be emailed to you, so you are ready to go on your first day! Exercise during pregnancy helps improve or increase: Cardiovascular fitness Muscular strength/endurance Energy levels Higher fatigue threshold Posture and biomechanics Circulation Self-esteem, sense of well-being Recovery time DID YOU KNOW... Are you a working mother who wants to exercise, but feels guilty about not spending your non-working hours with your family? Here is a solution for you! Bring your family to your Stroller Strides class! Mechanicsville Mommies: Starting in April, evening classes are being offered in Mechanicsville through the Hanover Co. Parks & Recreation. Watch program guide for details. Classes are added based on interest. So, you need to let me know when you want a class and we can see what we can do!
